Carter's Chord - A Family Affair
Carter's Chord & Friends Benefit A Great Success 
On the evening of June 16th, Carter's Chord, along with several artists and songwriters performed at Douglas Corner in support of Safe Haven's homeless families. The night was filled with incredible music and performances by: Randy Houser, Jessi Coulter, The Waymore Blues Band, The Moffatts, Bobby Pinson and Steve Jones. The event generated over $1,000 for the organization. More event photos will be posted soon.
Safe Haven Family Shelter Featured in People: Country Edition
On March 24th, Big Machine recording artist & Celebrity Spokesperson, Danielle Peck, entertained fans & supporters at the 2nd Annual An Evening With Danielle Peck & Friends, benefiting homeless families in Middle Tennessee. The event was a tremendous success, garnering $15,000 in support for homeless families. Safe Haven received national recognition due to efforts of event photographer Aaron Crisler. He was instrumental in gathering post-event coverage by submitting the featured photo to People magazine. Pick up your copy of People: Country Edition on newstands today!

Visits Safe Haven Family Shelter
On March 27th Brandon Jones visited Safe Haven as part of Books from Birth of Middle Tennessee's Imagination Library's 3rd birthday. Jones visited with the children and their parents and read the books Coyote Raid at the Cactus Canyon and Firefighters to the Rescue! from the Imagination Library. Jones also helped them open gifts of Imagination Library books followed by birthday cake. "This was a great experience for me and I hope for the kids and families," Jones said. Safe Haven Partners with the MuzikMafia
Safe Haven is excited to announce a new partnership with MuzikMafia. Supporters and fans of the MuzikMafia have the opportunity to learn more about the homeless families at Safe Haven by going to the Community Service link on the MuzikMafia's webpage. They are dedicated to turning their success into hope for those in the community that are less fortunate. "Love Everybody," is a song composed by the members of the group. The MuzikMafia states, "It is one thing to say, 'Love Everybody.' It is another thing to actually do it. Our community involvement is about walking the walk." Country Artists Come Together to Form Council at Safe Haven

Country artists have teamed up with Safe Haven to raise awareness for homeless families in Middle Tennessee. Safe Haven Spokesperson Danielle Peck is leading the effort by chairing Safe Haven's Celebrity Council. Country legend, and long-time avid supporter of Safe Haven, Martina McBride, as well as Keith Anderson have joined Peck to help raise awareness about Safe Haven's work. Other artists, including Emily West, Carter's Cord, Deana Carter and The Warren Brothers have stepped forward to be an active voice in preventing family homelessness.
