What is a Guardian Angel?

A Guardian Angel is a business, faith community, Sunday school class, individual or organization that underwrites the cost of a family while they stay at Safe Haven Family Shelter.  Guardian Angels are instrumentalin helping Safe Haven strive to stop the cycle of chronic homelessness before it begins. Guardian Angels ensure families have an opportunity to successfully return into the community with stable employment and secured housing.

Guardian Angel – Platinum $6,000

Underwrite the cost of one family graduation from the shelter Program. In the 60 -90 day duration families will have substantial amount of savings for program departure,  family budget that will be sustainable for independent living, secured employment and return into a home of their own.

Guardian Angel – Gold $3,000

Provide a family with the opportunity to receive comprehensive training, counseling and support through the shelter program for 45 days. Families will achieve milestones such as obtaining employment, creating a family budget, contributing to savings and making long-term plans for their return to independent living.

As a Guardian Angel member you will have the satisfaction of knowing that your funds provided a family with the opportunity to remain together while receiving comprehensive training, counseling and guidance, and restoring dignity to parents and stability to children. You will receive updates on our families and invitations to Guardian Angel Events, recognition on our website, publications and press releases where appropriate.
